FastPaste ("we", "us", "our") is a Chrome extension that simulates keyboard typing from clipboard content. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
When you create an account, we collect your email address and a hashed password. These are stored securely via Supabase (our authentication provider) and are used solely to manage your account and premium subscription status.
We store basic usage counters (number of pastes per week) locally on your device using Chrome's built-in storage API. This data never leaves your browser.
We do not read, store, transmit, or log your clipboard content. Ever. Your copied text is processed entirely within your browser and is never sent to any server. We do not collect browsing history, keystrokes, personal files, or any content from the pages you visit.
FastPaste requests clipboard read permission so it can access text you've copied and type it character-by-character. This happens locally in your browser tab. No clipboard data is sent to our servers or any third party.
Premium subscriptions are processed through Stripe. We do not store or have access to your credit card number, CVV, or full billing details. Stripe handles all payment processing in compliance with PCI-DSS standards.
We do not use cookies, analytics trackers, or any third-party tracking scripts on our website or in the extension. We do not run ads.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties. The only third-party services that receive any data are Supabase (authentication) and Stripe (payment processing), both of which are necessary to operate the service.
You can delete your account at any time by contacting us. Upon deletion, we remove your email and all associated data from our systems. Local extension data (settings, usage counters) can be cleared by uninstalling the extension.
FastPaste is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
